Operational planning for the physical build-out

Manufacturing Build-Out

I manage manufacturing build-out projects from early planning through facility readiness, infrastructure installation, equipment installation, and preparation for production.

A manufacturing build-out may involve expanding within an existing facility, reconfiguring a manufacturing floor, adding new production lines, building out unused space, or determining that the current building cannot support the operation and a new facility is required.

My role is to help connect the operational plan with the physical build-out. That includes defining requirements, reviewing space and layout needs, coordinating internal teams and outside vendors, tracking approvals, and making sure the facility is being built around how the work actually needs to flow.

A successful manufacturing build-out depends on more than getting equipment into a building. The layout, utilities, infrastructure, workflow, vendors, equipment, and people all need to come together in a way that supports production. The goal is to create a manufacturing environment that is practical, scalable, efficient, and ready to move into startup and full operations.
